Today we continue to talk about love but in a different context. In the first half of the show we look at the immigrant journey and how we can love our immigrant neighbor, then we transition to the realization that we are all immigrants, or foreigners, on earth.

Born and raised within the minority Christian community in India, Mabel Ninan moved to America in 2008. As she struggled to fit in and longed for rootedness and belonging, God opened her eyes to the fact that she was a spiritual immigrant too, a foreigner on earth who does not belong in this world. Her mission is to encourage believers to embrace their immigrant journey on earth and live out their calling with boldness and passion.

Mabel's writings explore the intersection between faith, culture, and identity. Her articles have been published in CBN.com, The Upper Room, (in)courage.me, and Leading Hearts magazine. Her essay, "#LockdownLessons: How the Pandemic Reshaped My Understanding of Church", published in LeadingHearts.com as well as Courageous Magazine (India), won the Selah Award (Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference) in the essay category in 2021.

Mabel's first book, "Far from Home: Discovering Your Identity as Foreigners on Earth" will be released in July 2022 by Iron Stream Media. She is a contributor to Guideposts’, "All God’s Creatures 2022: Daily Devotions for Animal Lovers".

WE BELIEVE in one sovereign and eternal God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, perfectly united in love, power, and purpose, the Author and Sustainer of all life.

WE BELIEVE that God spoke the universe into being for His glory, and that all creation reflects His beauty, order, and abundant goodness.

WE BELIEVE that God reveals Himself through His Word, through the witness of creation, and most completely through Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, the image of the invisible God and the Savior of the world.

WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired and authoritative Word of God trustworthy, timeless, and transformative given to instruct, correct, and equip us to live in righteousness and truth.

WE BELIEVE that humanity, created in the image of God as male and female, was designed for relationship with Him and with one another. Yet all have fallen short through sin and rebellion, bringing brokenness and death into the world.

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, revealed the Father’s heart, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to heaven, and reigns as Lord over all.

WE BELIEVE that salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by human effort, but transforming every part of life through repentance, renewal, and the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit is present and active today, convicting hearts, awakening faith, empowering believers for holy living, guiding us into truth, and gifting us for service, creativity, and witness in the world.

WE BELIEVE that the Church is the body of Christ, a diverse, redeemed community called to live in unity, love, and radical generosity, proclaiming the gospel and embodying God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

WE BELIEVE that Christ will return personally, powerfully, and gloriously to restore all things, judge the living and the dead, and establish His reign of justice, peace, and abundance forever.

WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the body, the renewal of all creation, and the eternal joy of life with God.
